Eating healthy is becoming more and more popular (Yay!). A common issue that people keep asking me about is how to stay full throughout the day when eating healthy. This could be caused by a variety of different things but the main issue seems to be that you’re not eating enough food!

Just because you want to clean up your diet does not mean you have to starve yourself. Foods like avocados, nuts, fish, chicken, fruits, vegetables, quinoa, basmati rice, eggs, potatoes are all excellent foods you should eat when cleaning up your diet.

Minimizing your meals and calories is not the most effective option, instead constructing a 3 meal eating plan with snacks in between can be far more beneficial. For optimal energy I would have high fats in the morning with some protein, for example,

Breakfast
1 avocado, 2 eggs and 1/2 cup of oat meal for breakfast.

Snack 1
Granola bar and 1 banana

Lunch
1 cup quinoa , chicken breast and vegetables

Snack 2
Hand full – Nuts

Dinner
Vegetables and fish

This is an example of an excellent nutritious day. The high fats in the morning give you long lasting energy for the day, the carbs at lunch give you that mid day energy and the veges at night are a light way to end the day. You don’t want to go to sleep with a carb filled belly that energy is unnecessary.

Remember you don’t have to cut calories and meals to lose weight!
