Garlic has played a big roll in human history for over 7 thousand years. This tasty food has been a primary ingredient in the Mediterranean diet for good reason. Garlic could be added to just about any dish and the aroma from cooking with garlic is enough to invite the neighbors! Besides it’s tasty addition in recipes garlic has incredible health benefits that shouldn’t be ignored!
Garlic increases the speed of insulin release and naturally regulates the blood sugar levels preventing the risk for diabetes.
It lowers the count of triglycerides and cholesterol in our blood preventing it from clumping together in the arteries. In result this lowers the risk for blood clots and heart attacks.
Anemic? Improve Iron Absorption
Garlic increase production of ferroportin (protein that transfers iron) making it easier for the body to absorb iron. So if you are anemic make sure you have garlic in your daily diet.

Garlic contains the compound allicin which has anti-bacterial properties and helps reduce unhealthy fat absorption.
