The outdoors is absolutely beautiful but  unfortunately  many people don’t have the “time” to appreciate it. Don’t hold back, give your body what it wants. Enjoy the outdoors while getting a good workout in. Here are four outdoor activities you should be doing this summer right now!

Hiking

You’ve heard it before and you’re going to hear it again. Hiking is one of the best outdoor activities you can do. Not only are you enjoying the wonderful outdoors but you’re getting a pretty intense workout at the same time. Find a local trail, gather a few friends and start hiking! All you need is a good pair of shoes, water and of course… some sunscreen!

Picnic

Unfortunately for many, including myself tend to rush through meals without really taking the time to enjoy it. I can’t think of a more perfect way to relax and enjoy a healthy meal than having it outdoors and I don’t mean on a terrace! Picnics are a great way to soak up the sun and enjoy a lovely meal. Pack some fresh vegetables and a portable BBQ and grill your favorite meats. Not only is this a great way to enjoy outside but it’s very good for relaxing the mind and body.

Bike Trails

Most areas have giant bike trails where you can ride your bike freely along side hundreds of other cyclists. Don’t miss out! Grab your road bike (or buy one) and join the path and enjoy the outdoors. You will feel completely refreshed after a long  bike ride around the city!
