cilantroCilantro also known as coriander has been a part of our history since the Ancient Egyptian era, some even date cilantro back to 5000 BC. About half a liter of coriander was recovered from the tomb of Tutankhamen (an Egyptian Pharaoh dating back from 1332 BC)! If I had to choose one herb to eat for the rest of my life it would be cilantro. This delicious herb has a very distinctive flavor that adds an extra kick to any dish. I mean, what’s guacamole or a ceviche without some cilantro added to it?

Not only does it bring great flavor but cilantro has been found to be a very effective cleanser for toxic metals in the body.
